GOLD COAST NIGHTLIFE

As a clubbers paradise, the Gold Coast falls somewhere between Ibiza and Bondi Beach with late night clubs and fashionable bars. The Coast is home to about four large nightclubs which are known for hosting regular touring DJs, dozens of boutique clubs catering for a diverse range of musical tastes and styles which provide holiday makers and locals with a place to dance to the latest top 40 tunes.

Situated in Broadbeach, The Star Gold Coast has been a Gold Coast icon and popular destination for entertainment for over 25 years and is the Coast’s only casino. There’s always something to do at The Star, with regular stage shows, music and entertainment, multiple restaurants, great bars, boutique shopping and of course, gambling! The pub scene on the Gold Coast has just taken off in recent years with over 100 pubs on the Coast and most of them offer a good range of drinks, decent counter meals at decent prices, sport playing in the background and pokie machines. Take your pick out of the vast range of bars and pubs around the Coast, or why not head to one of the Gold Coast’s breweries and sample some of the local beers.

Beachfront markets are held every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday night 4-9pm all year round, along the Esplanade on the foreshore of Surfers Paradise. You can pick up all sorts of arts and crafts, food, jewellery and many wonderful handmade bits and pieces by locals. There’s over 100 unique stalls so you’ll find something for the whole family.
