Can I cancel my booking due to COVID19 and receive a refund?
If border closures or lockdowns impact your booking, you will be provided with a credit note for the money paid, which can be applied against a future stay. The credit note will be valid for 1 year.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Am I required to pay bond upon check-in?
Upon check-in you will be required to provide a credit card per-authorisation of $300 or a $300 cash deposit to cover any miscellaneous charges.
Can I request late check-out?
Late check out is subject to availability. This can be arranged through Reception the day before your departure- a charge of $15 per extra hour does apply.
What time can I check-in?
You can check in from 2pm, on wards.
Can I request early check-in?
Check-in is strictly 2pm, however guests are welcome to do all relevant check-in paperwork and store luggage whilst waiting for the room.
Can I store my luggage?
After checking with our Reception, we will store your luggage for you until your room is available. If you are checking out, you may also store your luggage at Reception during office hours. Please be advised this service is only for guests that have booked with the resort.
Booking
How do I make a reservation?
For the best rates, call Beachcomber resort on (07) 5570 1000 or Book Now and only pay a small booking fee and the balance on arrival.
I have arrived and did not get what I requested?
Whilst every attempt is made by us to allocate rooms based on guest requests, sometimes this is not possible, due to maintenance issues or owner requests. All guests are provided with the best room available on the day, regardless of the time frame booked.
Cancellation Policy of the Beachcomber Resort?
There will be no cancellation fees for cancellations lodged 30 days (or more) prior to arrival. However if the cancellation is lodged less than 30 days prior to arrival guests will lose their deposit. Please note all deposits/accommodation payment are non refundable after check in.
Are there charges for additional guests?
Unless specified all rates are based on the number of guests specified per room. Roll-away beds can be arranged at an extra charge per person per night.

Will my room be serviced?
No, your apartment will not be serviced as the Beachcomber Resort has only self-contained units, however this can be arranged through Reception for a fee if you require this during your stay.
Is parking available?
secure underground parking. To find our parking lot, enter the hotel driveway from Trickett Street. The height restriction is 1.92m
I need more amenities/ towels?
All amenities can be supplied through Reception on depletion of your arrival pack. Extra charges do apply.
Payment
When do I pay for my booking?
At time of booking, a $200 deposit will be required. The remaining balance will be taken on the day of your arrival from the credit card details supplied.
What credit cards does Beachcomber Resort accept?
We accept all major Credit Cards including Amex.
Reception Hours
What are reception hours?
Reception operates Monday to Saturday 8.30am – 5pm and Sunday & Public Holidays 9am – 3pm.
What if I arrive late and reception is closed?
If you will be arriving late to the resort, you will receive an email with a set of instructions and a code to our night safe. The safe is located outside the reception glass doors to your right. In there you will find an envelope with your name on it and key and instruction to get into your room.
Rates
Are the prices listed online on a per guest or per room basis?
All rates listed for Beachcomber Resort are based per room only not exceeding the maximum number of guests.
• 1-2 guests in a 1 bedroom apartment
• 1-2 guests in a Studio Apartment
• Extra person rate is $45 (adults) and $35 (children) per night
I made a reservation however now the rates are cheaper?
The Beachcomber Resort adapt a dynamic pricing structure, all rates are updated daily. If you find your rate has decreased, and payment has been made within our booking payment terms and conditions, we are unable to amend or change this for you.
Misc.
Upgrade Options?
On arrival you may decide to change your mind form what you have originally booked. We are more than happy to assist you with upgrades subject to availability. Charges will apply.
What do I need to bring?
We suggest that you bring your normal traveling items including beach towels, sunscreen and a hat.
Can I smoke in the apartment I booked?
Beachcomber Resort has a strict NON SMOKING POLICY.
How far is the Beachcomber Resort from the airport?
The Gold Coast Domestic and International airport is located 27kms South of Surfers Paradise which is a 30 minute drive. Brisbane Domestic and International Airport is located at least a one-hour’s drive North of Surfers Paradise.
Are pets welcome at the Beachcomebr Resort?
For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, Beachcomber Resort have a strict NO PET Policy.
